Development & Outreach Coordinator

This is a full-time, salaried position officing in our Administrative offices.
This position reports to the Director of Development & Communications.

Overview:

Provides administrative, communications, and event support for PAVE East Texas’ fundraising and community outreach efforts. This position plays a key role in donor stewardship, database management, event coordination, communications, and community awareness.

This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and collaboratively.

Donor Relations & Database Management

• Process and acknowledge all charitable contributions in a timely manner.

• Maintain accurate donor records in Bloomerang.

• Manage online giving platforms.

• Prepare and send donor acknowledgment communications.

• Assist with donor stewardship mailings and correspondence.

Marketing & Communications

• Design marketing materials using Canva and other design platforms.

• Coordinate general organizational and program marketing efforts.

• Assist with social media content creation and scheduling. Update website content as needed.

• Coordinate promotional items and branded merchandise.

• Assist with e-newsletters, print newsletters, annual appeals, and online fundraising campaigns.

• Ensure consistent branding across communications.

Board & Committee Support

• Coordinate Board of Directors and committee meeting logistics, assisting with board communications and scheduling.

• Prepare meeting materials and agendas. Record and distribute board meeting minutes.

Events & Fundraising

Assist with fundraising and community events, including:

• Corporate Spelling Bee

• Donor Appreciation Luncheon

• Volunteer Appreciation Event

• East Texas Giving Day

• Give United Campaign

• GED & Career Pathways Graduation

• Additional fundraising and community engagement activities as assigned

Community Outreach & Volunteer Engagement

• Coordinate community outreach opportunities to increase awareness of PAVE East Texas.

• Support volunteer recruitment initiatives.

• Assist with student recruitment efforts and community marketing.

• Manage Bill’s Bookshelf and related outreach initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.

• Provide administrative support to the Development & Communications Director and the Executive Director when needed.

• Maintain confidentiality of donor and organizational information.

• Represent PAVE East Texas professionally within the community.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred; equivalent experience or appropriate certifications accepted.

• Experience in nonprofit development, communications, marketing, customer service, or administrative support is preferred.

• Experience with donor databases or CRM systems is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with Canva or similar graphic design software.

Working Conditions

• Flexible work schedule available based on organizational needs.

• Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends for meetings, fundraising events, and community activities.

• Occasional lifting of event materials up to 25 pounds.

• Local travel for meetings, outreach activities, and events may be required.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: $45,000 annual base salary, with final compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
