Nathan Kelley

Nathan serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for Southside Bank Wealth Management & Trust.  He began his banking career in 2002, and has served in roles as a Personal Banker, Treasury Management Officer, and Wealth Advisor.

He is a 2005 graduate of TJC and a 2008 graduate of University of Texas at Tyler.  As a CFP® professional, Nathan enjoys learning about what is most important to his clients, developing a framework for their financial decisions, and helping them to focus more on life and less on money.  He also holds designations as a Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS®) and Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager (AFIM®).

His greatest accomplishment in life is convincing his wife, Cherié, to marry him in 2009.  They live in Tyler with their two dogs, Fenway and Scout.  He is a passionate believer and follower of Christ, fledgling musician, and retired professional air drummer.  Nathan loves meeting new people, is a self-proclaimed superfan of The Office, and goes Andy’s Frozen Custard more often than he should.  (Don’t tell his gym coach about Andy’s.)
